Welcome to Transport Company, a blog that looks at the many facets of the transportation industry company by company.
There will be a myriad of posts coming which will look at the many aspects of this huge industry and provide an insight into what its all about and what people come to expect from it. This will include talking about such topics as public transport systems, their advantages and their failings, where improvement may be made (from a personal opinion standpoint only, of course).
We'll also look at the freight forwarding side of the industry that takes care of moving goods, packages and all kinds of movable cargo from point to point.
We'll also look at the many transport modes themselves, and the mechanics of it all, from trucks and road haulage, to rail freight, right up to air freight and ocean shipping of large consignments of goods to all parts of the world.
